The IEEE NZ Council exists at the pleasure of the Sections and
receives no direct funding from the IEEE Region or HQ. Its function is
one of coordination between the two NZ Sections (North and South).
Agreement between IEEE and IPENZ
The IEEE and IPENZ have signed a memorandum of understanding to
encourage the exchange of information, and to promote understanding
and co-operation between the members of the two institutions. The full
text of the agreement will be available on the NZ Council web site
below. Included in the agreement are:
reciprocal membership rights for visitors
encouragement for joint activities
co-ordination of technical meetings including conferences
